GEMMA TOP ‘Damodice'

A modern interpretation of 'poet's shirt', with a very feminine story whose main character is you!  The simple lines outline your curves while the long sleeve is topped off with a necktie to be bowed or looped or simply left hanging! Gemma is fantastic on every gal, all the time. The fabric is a print that I started using in 2017 and have been fortunate enough to have had dyed in the USA by my fabulous fabric fellas in numerous colors over the years.  I have asked them to match the 'Blush' Ultra-Suede color so the jacket will be in prefect sync with my dresses beneath it. And the result far exceeds my expectations! It is delightful! This is the same soft poly-lycra knit you have come to know and love for 3 decades! 

I created this pattern and have been making this top for 30 years!  I play with the  length & sleeve shapes, add on a collar here and there, to work with whatever fabrics I conjure, so that you can always have 'a new' version of the top whose supreme fit and fabric you have come to rely on for 3 decades. Others have attempted to copy & produce this baby, but these knock-offs will never measure up to my master.  And they're always mass produced. For my limited editions there's no competition.
